Creative Strategist / Media Buyer

Own creative + media across a wild portfolio in the creator and experience economy (plus ecom/CPG). Big budgets ($200k+ weekly). Small elite team. Cross-pollinate learnings across brands and level up fast.

Snapshot of the Role

  • Turn data into creative that prints money. Daily loop: insights → briefs → assets → tests → learnings → scale.

  • Keep account structures simple; run a clean, fast testing OS

  • Pull daily numbers; translate into sharp briefs (angles, hooks, formats, scripts)

  • Ship 20–40 creatives/week (UGC, statics, carousels, DPAs)

  • Own DPA/DABA: feed rules, overlays, split cards, multivariate testing

  • Build/lead a creator network; source UGC; QA outputs; move fast with editors

  • Jump into CapCut/Premiere for micro-tweaks when speed wins

  • Maintain weekly learnings and make scale/iterate/kill calls with budget owners

  • Tech Stack: Meta, TikTok, Google/PMax, GA4, Shopify, Looker Studio, Sheets, CapCut, Adobe CC, feed managers, attribution (Northbeam/Triple Whale)

What Does Success Look Like?

  • 20–40 new creatives/week shipped with hypotheses

  • +30% lift in hook rate/CTR on top brands

  • Stable MER/ROAS at target spend; >70% budget on winners

  • DPA catalogue health ≥95% and rising revenue share

  • A documented “Creative OS” others can run

You’ll Bring

Must-haves
  • 2+ years in paid social (or less if you can prove you’re a real operator with results)

  • Hands-on Meta buying and creative strategy; TikTok/Google nice to have

  • Fluent in MER, ROAS, CAC, LTV, CTR, 3-sec hook, save/share, CVR

  • Track record turning insights into winners at speed (bring examples + your deltas)

  • Strong copy instincts; basic editing (CapCut/Premiere); GA4 + spreadsheets confident

  • Thrives in elite, high-tempo, owner’s-mindset teams.

  • Northbeam/Triple Whale, Motion/Varos, Marpipe, DataFeedWatch/Productsup

  • Shopify/Shopify Flow, Looker Studio

  • UGC sourcing, creator briefing, lightweight contracting

Your AI edge (non-negotiable)

You’re obsessed with AI and live down the rabbit hole. You test new tools the week they drop and bring them into workflow. Expectation: show something you’ve already built using Nano Banana in the last week and explain how it improved quality, speed, or control versus your previous toolchain.

Tue: Ship 10–15 new assets, spin DPA overlays, launch 8 tests

Wed: Review hooks/holds, creator sourcing, 5 micro-edits in CapCut

Thu: Iterate top performers, expand angles to a second brand, update learning deck

Fri: Deep-dive on DPA/product sets, prep next week’s backlog, Loom summary
